Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about trials, photo limits, verification links, and how Cargo Load Pictures works for the independent owner-operator. For a click-through experience, try the interactive demo.

What is Cargo Load Pictures?

Cargo Load Pictures helps trucking companies and drivers document every load with timestamped photos tied to the Bill of Lading, truck ID, trailer ID, and driver. The goal is simple: create a defensible record you can share with shippers, insurers, or attorneys when a damage or negligence claim shows up.

Who is it for?

Independent owner-operators running a single truck who want professional-grade load documentation without paying for a fleet plan. If you are a solo driver or a small two-person operation, this is built for you.

Do drivers need to install an app?

No app store install is required. The product works as a mobile-friendly web app and PWA—drivers can add it to their home screen on iPhone or Android for quick access.

How does the free trial work?

You get a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. When you are ready, the Solo plan is $14.99/month and includes all features listed on the home page — built for one truck and one driver.

What are the limits per shipment?

Each load supports up to 40 photos total: up to 10 each for Loading, Unloading, In Route, and Damage. That mirrors how many real-world teams document a full cycle without encouraging endless uploads.

Can photos be deleted or edited after upload?

No. Once a photo is in the system, it is treated as an immutable record—the file and metadata are not meant to be replaced or removed by users. That is intentional for disputes and chain-of-custody style documentation.

What is a public verification link?

Each photo can be opened on a public verification page that shows the image, upload time, phase (loading, unloading, etc.), and the load details (BOL, truck, trailer, driver, and so on). You can share that link with a third party so they can confirm the record without logging into your account.

Can I try the workflow without signing up?

Yes. The interactive demo runs entirely in your browser with sample data so you can click through loads, phases, and a verification-style preview. It does not replace a real account for storage and team invites.

Is this just for me or can I add a co-driver?

The Solo plan is designed for a single-truck owner-operator. It is your account, your loads, your photos. If you need to share access with a co-driver or dispatcher, you can invite them to your account — just keep in mind this plan is not intended for multi-truck fleets.

How do I find an old load?

Subscriber-facing lists support search by driver last name, truck ID, trailer ID, BOL, or all fields at once, so you can pull up a shipment quickly when someone calls about a claim.

What are the five custom fields?

In settings, you can name up to five extra fields (for example seal number, commodity, temperature). When configured, drivers see those fields on the load record alongside the standard BOL and equipment IDs.

Can I export my data?

Subscribers can export load data from the app (CSV from the loads area). Use that for backups, audits, or sharing summaries outside the product.

Where is my data stored?

The service is built for cloud hosting with durable object storage for images and a database for load and metadata. Do not upload content you are not allowed to store or share under your contracts and applicable law.
